I’ve never been mugged for even the smallest thing, but I was on the subway platform when I got to thinking how funny it would be for someone to steal my gym bag while it was full of my sweaty clothes. Losing my martial arts belt would suck though.

There’s one turnstile in my subway station that I never use anymore. Either the magnetic strip heads are dirty or it just needs a tweak, but I’ve had this problem with it more than any of the other ones in the station. It gives me small amounts of joy when I go through the turnstile while someone else is using the crappy one and they have to swipe multiple times. I remember the first time I learned what “PLEASE SWIPE AGAIN AT THIS TURNSTILE” meant and thinking of how much that sucked. I don’t get it the reason for that message. Basically it’s saying you already used a fare but we’re not letting you through.
I like when he bites the turnstile.
