I realize there should be crazy complex shadows in this, but I’m just not at the level of technical expertise to do this yet, plus the whole laziness factor helps out in that too.

This happens to me a lot. I’ll brush my teeth and then I’ll get hungry for something, because usually I don’t go straight to bed after I brush my teeth. So then maybe I’ll want some crackers or ice cream. Usually ice cream, and especially if I had a long day. Right now people are silently cursing my name because I can eat ice cream right before I go to bed and not gain any weight. Don’t worry, I’m sure it’ll catch up to me someday. Someday.
Ice cream’s one of those things that’s so tremendously fattening, but I grew up eating ice cream at night all the time never gave it a second thought. I remember the first time I looked at the nutrition facts for ice cream. Basically I was briefly horrified and then probably finished half a pint. Sometimes I can’t have ice cream at home because my freezer gets too frozen over and I’ll have to wait until it’s empty so that I can defrost it and then fit ice cream pints inside of it. Even then I can only fit them in sideways ’cause I have a tiny fridge.
I was with a friend when we did this. It was earlier during this week we were walking outside and it was pretty cold, but then we were hit with a sudden craving for ice cream, so we did.
This happened to me once at a deli I frequent. It’s just that I tend to gloss over the ice cream being at the counter because it’s below my eyeline so all I saw were the dairy substitute ice creams. I understand people eating that stuff if they can’t have dairy, but not so much if they don’t have that reason to fall back on. Healthy desserts suck.
My fridge is tiny which means my freezer is ultra tiny. The unfortunate thing is that sometimes I keep things other than ice cream in there for long periods of time. Sometimes it’s this plastic container of grated cheese I get at the supermarket, and sometimes it’s leftover hamburgers that I made. The point being that these only get used very occasionally so the frost will build and build and I’ll have no opportunity to take this stuff out and defrost. Soon the freezer reaches a point where the ice cream can’t fit in at all. Even fully defrosted my freezer can’t accomodate a pint of ice cream standing upright. One of the criteria for my next apartment is that it’ll have a real fridge.
I’m a big proponent for food as a means of therapy. If I ever have kids I’ll be one of those parents whose solutions for everything is to eat something. Let’s just hope that my kids would have a metabolism similar to mine.
I like the GLOOP sound effect in addition to the idea of someone shoving an entire ice cream cone into their mouth at once. I’ve never had a severe ice cream headache before. In fact I don’t recall ever getting an ice cream headache, because I thought it was a totally made up thing the first time I heard it.
This is about as violent as the character ever gets. This comic prompted a few questions from my friends about why the chcaracter is so violent. After this he doesn’t get much more violent than one punch or slap. I just like the idea of someone beating another person so thoroughly that in the heat of the moment they forget the reason behind it.
Almond cookie ice cream used to be the flavor of choice for when I went to the Chinatown Ice Cream Factory. All their ice cream is really good, but almond cookie was the first flavor I had.
Spring no longer holds the allure that it used to. As far as I’m concerned Spring is now only good in picture books. Sure the plants grow and everything is green, but the weather is just leftover cold weather from Winter and a lot of rain. The amount of rainy days versus the amount of actually Spring days are about 50/50. Fall has become my new favorite mild season since it’s much better to transition from leftover Summer.
I like the sound the baby makes when it his the ground.
