Oh how I’m going to miss the bagels.
I asked my West Coast friends what I should be eating before I leave for San Diego. But even before asking I knew that pizza and bagels were a given. My friend said to eat good Italian food while I was here and also that I don’t have to worry about avocados because they put them in everything on the West Coast.

You could always ask if he has a brother in San Diego.
Unfortunately it’s really about the bagel recipe and also the quality of water in New York that would make the difference. So it’s possibly that it’s IMPOSSIBLE to have the New York bagel in other places. Especially San Diego which is supposed to have amongst the worst tap water due to high mineral content.
