As I write this it’s nearly 1 AM EST which means there should be some lunar eclipse action visible in about half an hour. The temperature is still hovering around 30 degrees which shouldn’t be too bad for someone from Boston, but it got so cold in such a short period of time this year that I feel like I wasn’t given proper time to adjust. Lunar eclipses aren’t the most exciting thing to watch, but if the moon is all sorts of crazy red colors then it’ll be worth the freezing cold.

EDIT: I did end up going outside for a quick look and take a few photos of a very tiny moon. It was actually pretty cool because other times I saw the eclipse the shadow was darker which made it look more like a crescent moon. With this eclipse I could still see the outline of the moon which made it worth the trip into the cold 😛
