I can get very obsessive about things being in a certain order or matching. We were actually at the DMV which is one of those kinds of places with tons and tons of fluorescent lighting. There were lights with an orange, green and I think kind of bluish color temperature. It was driving me crazy that there wasn’t a single bank which had bulbs of all the same color. That’s pretty much it really.

Haha. I think that reaction is justified. Why on earth wouldn’t they at least exchange the different bulbs so that every bank emits the same color/warmth of light? I think it’s very rude to the customers too, because right lighting isn’t just a question of aestethics, but how comfortable you feel around a place.
Hey, they’re using their cramped budget to sublty funk things up! And at least you killed your time!
Maybe there is a certain order to it. Like something out of the Resident Evil games, you may need to remember the color order to get somewhere or unlock something on a puzzle…….or maybe its a message, like somehow it needs to be decoded and it may say something really important……..or maybe its a mind control technique, like certain colors and brightnesses could have an affect on ones mind……or maybe they were told specifically to put certain colors in a certain place from a blueprint plan made by some psychopath…….or maybe they were just lazy and replaced them every now and then without caring what it looked like.
