Whenever I think of the Yankees/Red Sox rivalry I think about a scene from the movie “Summer of Sam” (don’t recommend it by the way) when a bunch of New Yorkers are starting to riot and they ask a guy who his favorite baseball team and he defiantly yells “BOSTON RED SOX!” and then they beat him up. I think though that it’s probably more like in this comic. I mean, because the Yankees have won it 27 times now, I don’t think they need to have as much animosity towards Boston fans than Boston fans have towards them.
Anyway, I don’t really care all that much, I just know now the TV scheduling is back to normal.
