This is a sign that I’ve seen in Greenwich Village which I couldn’t believe existed the first time I saw it. I guess it’s for the nice neighborhoods in NYC. I just think it’s funny because it could be very subjective what constitutes unnecessary noise. Construction clearly is necessary if road work needs to be done. Honking usually is unnecessary, but there could be a situation where it’s needed if someone is about to crash. Yelling would probably constitute unnecesssary noise. Interesting.
