Kick in the Head

I’ve had my share of times in the shower like that scene in the Simpsons where Bart is flushing the toilet trying desperately to make the water spin in the opposite direction and Homer’s water goes from boiling hot to freezing cold. Though from talking to friends, it just seems like this kind of fluctuating water temperature is just something everyone deals with. Maybe someday I’ll be in a nice enough apartment when I won’t. It would make me feel better to know if people in apartments more expensive than mine deal with this or not. The real trick is just to get the shampoo out of your hair, because everything else is easy enough to get off with a towel.

My shower used to take FOREVER to get any kind of hot water, but it seems that the new owner has ironed out all those problems. Sometimes later at night it can take a while, but it’s nowhere near the times of me turning on my water and then checking all my daily internet websites before I could take my shower. Now I turn on the hot water and it’s at volcanic heat from the get go. Sometimes during the summer I was brave enough to take a cold shower which isn’t so bad if it’s not ice cold. It can be very refreshing given the proper weather.

Wow, that bathtub is really small. I guess I haven’t looked at this comic in a while, but that’s pretty funny. The scale in my comic is something in constant debate about with myself. Sometimes it looks like he’s living in a world where everything is to scale with normal sized humans and other times things are adjusted so that they look as if everyone is his height. So I guess this tub is in scale with if the tub was built more for someone of his size, still pretty small though.
