Los Angeles has a ban on plastic bags at supermarkets and stores, and if you want a bag you need to pay 10 cents. I’m all for people using reusable bags because I think fewer plastic bags used so haphazardly is a good thing. That said, I always used those bags for my trash bags because it’s easy to hook them on cabinet doors in the kitchen and since they’re small that means trash gets thrown out more often before it gets super smelly.

So yep, I bought a big box of the bags because it’s ridiculously cheaper than buying kitchen trash bags from the supermarket. By my calculations I should probably take two years to finish a bag of 500, so I’ll probably split it with friends.
