It would be pretty accurate to say that I didn’t take much advantage of what San Diego had to offer. Besides the fact that I’m not generally an outdoors sort of person, I didn’t even go to the zoo while I lived there. Also while I got much more used to driving I still dislike it and that’s a hurdle to cross when doing anything in a city with no major public transportation.

There weren’t even really restaurant favorites that I would think “I gotta go there whenever I visit.” Maybe Hodad’s, but I only ever went there a couple of times. I also only went to a handful of Mexican food places but there’s plenty of Mexican food in LA too, and any differences in quality will most likely be too subtle for me to notice.
