Sometimes I get a craving for Burger Lounge, mostly because it’s the only burger place nearby that is only a burger place. Their thing is that they have organic meat, have a very green business etc etc etc. I don’t know what they say about their fries, but man are they expensive. It wasn’t quite as bad before when their portion sizes were larger, but they’ve made them smaller within the last year so it’s even more ludicrous paying that much.

I should get better at making my own fries. I can make some pretty good baked fries based off of this recipe (which Anna used when she made Twisp & Catsby burgers), but actual fried fries have their own distinctive taste that I’d like to be able to do well too.
