At one point while washing the dishes I noticed I was getting a tiny tiny spray of water  hitting me from somewhere. It took us a little while to notice that it was coming from the underside of the faucet. Upon closer inspection it had some hard water trails and actually looked sort of like water was bubbling around it. It got a bit worse gradually so as a temporary solution, Anna tied a piece of fleece around it.

Yesterday we found out that there’s now a very round hole a few millimeters in diameter! I have no idea what would cause something like this, but for now I’m blaming San Diego’s supposed incredibly hard water gradually wearing it away.

It’s actually somewhat handy because there are two streams of water when washing plates 😛
