While it is true that I do have several projects that I want to and should be working on, I did actually set out yesterday to update my portfolio site finally. Yes, that’s the story I’m sticking to. A little productive procrastination never hurt anyone, right?

There’s still a lot of stuff to add but the essentials are there at my NEW VIDEO PORTFOLIO SITE! The address is still the same derek-lieu.com. The old website was something of a bother to update despite it being extremely bare bones. The reason being that a while ago I made it mostly by hand in Photoshop and Dreamweaver.

But now I’ve entered the fancy schmancy realm of premium WordPress themes which are exactly suited to the type of site I wanted to build. The front page serves as the showcase of my most recent work that I’m most proud of and the bones are there to let me occasionally blog about video editing which I’ve sometimes even done here despite the demographic not really being there (as far as I know). In the future I plan on blogging more about editing software and other stuff that I think about which is related.

If you’re so inclined please check it out! Despite feeling like I’ve made so little in my professional career, when it’s all laid out in a page like this it looks more impressive. Definitely check out the BattleBlock Theater related stuff under Game Trailers (Official) and Motion Graphics. I’m SUPER proud of all the stuff I’ve done for that 🙂
