We bought our ingredients from a local Italian market which prominently has a very large stack of antacid bottles in between the sauce and pasta. It’s kind of funny to look at but really makes sense.

I think everyone should make their own food because it’s a good thing to know in general, but also it’s good to know what’s in your food. Making really heavy Italian food is one of those things where as I’m doing it I’m thinking about how crazy it is all the stuff I’m putting into it. Then again, that’s what makes it DELICIOUS.

I also thought the same thing whenever I make stuff like ice cream, frosting and cookies. The vast amounts of sugar, butter or cream in those things really make everything suddenly become crystal clear.
