The entire car purchasing experience I could describe as surreal. It’s like I was watching myself do all these adult thing and at the end of it somehow I had done enough of the right things that I got to drive home in a new car. I understand that I made a down payment and set up a car loan, signed lots of forms and filled out information, but getting to drive the car off the lot was just weird.
I think the weirdest part was how easy it was. I would never in a million years hope for a difficult car buying experience, but it just seems like one of those things that should be difficult to do because of so many factors. I guess if my credit was bad then it wouldn’t have been as easy.

A while ago I was having dinner plans with friends and they texted “We’ll be a little late because signing the deed took a little longer than expected”. I asked them if they didn’t want to celebrate by themselves to which they said “nah, it’s not that big a deal, it’s our fourth”
