I’ve had my computer for a few years and it has the Apple “chiclet” keyboard with the very shallow keys. Previously I had used the keyboards with bigger plastic keys which could easily be removed and cleaned. When searching online I found that cleaning the chiclet keyboard is more difficult because of the irregular fashion that the keys are attached.

But this weekend I was on a cleaning binge so I decided to just forgo the removal of the keys and just use some rubbing alcohol and a paper towel. Turns out that’s all I needed to do! My keyboard is now not quite as clean as new, but it might as well be, because by comparison I now feel like the fourth panel of this comic instead of the first three. I feel like I’ve had a huge stress lifted off my shoulders and now my head is clear.
