We had a nice goodbye party with many of our friends the night before we flew out to San Diego. A friend of mine got me a parting gift and I’d be lying if I said that my first thought was anything but “Oh crap, how hard is this going to be to pack?” The gift ended up being very easy to just throw in my carry-on luggage for which I was very much appreciative.
Friends of mine got married in the Netherlands while they live in the UK, so they explicitly stated “all gifts must be either money or lightweight and flat, so they can all together fit in carry-on luggage”
