The Cablevision worker helping me disconnect my service was very nice and sounded very excited at the idea of being in California in the warmth. Actually, the reaction I get from people when I mention San Diego is probably 80% about the weather and the rest is a mix of various things like “What’s out there?” and “I don’t really know what’s there. The zoo?”

There’s uh…that thing, um…I really don’t know what’s there either.
But a change from the cold is always nice, until summer hits…
Supposedly even the Summers aren’t so bad. The building manager of our new apartment said that he only used his a/c a few days out of the year. I’m guessing the dryness really helps out, because when it’s super humid, that heat just stays in the air and sticks to you.
I here that. Where I’m from it was 110 at least 3-4 times a week on average, accompanied by 80% humidity.
But then again the building manager could be just saying that to coax you to move there.
