Seinfeld has an awesome bit about milk and part of it is that it’s terrifying not knowing how milk should smell when it’s fresh versus when it’s expired. Well I know at least the milk I had didn’t smell weird and wasn’t gross and congealed when I threw it out. This knowledge helps me in no way.

Then the milk wasn’t off yet. Though you will recognize off milk by the taste earlier than by the smell.
It’s a possibility, but I wasn’t willing to take that chance. Would you have? O_o
I would not take that chance with two week expired milk. I would take that chance with three day expired milk.
Random note, raw, unpasteurized milk is one of the most delicious drinks ever. It actually tastes good by itself. We get it at the farmer’s market and it’s sold as animal feed to bypass the laws. Now that age old question about why anyone would drink whatever comes out of a cow has been answered in my mind.
I’m not sure that I’ve had the super raw milk before. I’m a little intimidated by it but still very curious.
