I was on the M train and the subway announcer totally didn’t tell us that the train wasn’t going where we thought it was going until after the doors were closed. So basically they kidnapped us for one station. Then I had to go downtown a few stops to take an alternate route. Thanks MTA.

We had just walked the Brooklyn bridge and wanted to go to Court sq, so we decided to walk to court St (F station) and transfer at Bergen. Only after Bergen they told us there was no G south of Hoyt/Schermerhorn, so we took the F train back from Bergen to Jay, then a C from Jay to Hoyt, then there appeared to be a slow shuttle from Hoyt to I think Bedford, where we had to transfer again. Had we known all this (the whole subway trip took a short two hours) we would’ve taken the F back to manhattan, then an M and then walked from Queensboro to Court Sq…
Court street in Brooklyn? But the F doesn’t stop at Court st. If you were at Jay St/Borough Hall then that’s only a few blocks from Court st. You should’ve been looking for the R or Borough Hall stop on the 2, 3, 4 or 5. O_O
