This isn’t based off of a specific meal or incident, but it’s funny to me when something is labeled as being an “Asian” food.” I know it’s not saying that it’s an authentic Asian meal, it’s basically saying that it includes at least one of the following: soy sauce, teriyaki sauce or ginger. It reminds me of when I was a kid I was at my parents’ office party and a French guy was telling the story of when he came to the U.S. and heard about “French dressing.” His reaction was something to the effect of “What the hell is this orange stuff???”

Also, in the words of the great George Carlin: “‘Real Chocolately goodness.’ Translation? No &%$#in’ chocolate!
