I’m seriously amazed that I’ve never seen people like this who don’t understand the limits of the unlimited Metrocard. I started college late 1999 so I’ve basically been here for over ten years and never seen this. I wonder how many people there are out there who thought that unlimited cards worked this way and then felt totally gypped when it didn’t.

I have no idea how unlimited cards work. Sounds like a kind of flatrate to me – you pay and can ride as often as you want.
That’s what it sounds like to a foreigner
Care to explain what it actually is? :]
There are thee kinds of unlimited cards: daily, weekly, and monthly. After you swipe an unlimited card it can’t be used at the same station again for twenty minutes or so. So this way people can’t swipe in multiple people
oooohh…. now that makes sense…
“I’ve seen thsi” — last two letters of “this” are switched.
I feel bad that the only two comments I’ve posted have been typo nitpicks. Your comic is fun! I’ve read the archives from the beginning more than once! I’m sorry I’m such a bloody pedant!
