It’s true. The price of having a cool phone that can do a lot of stuff is that you have to control how much stuff you want to let it do on its own lest it runs itself out of energy. I’ve actually been having pretty good battery life recently, but for some reason yesterday it inexplicably went down to 20% while I was playing some Uncharted 2 multiplayer. I don’t have auto-syncing turned on for anything but email. My guess right now was that my weather widget was having trouble connecting and trying to connect all the time ran the battery down.
do you have background data turned on? if you don’t you can’t go into the market but background data takes up LOADS of power running stuff all the time. also if you have GPS turned on and 3G takes up quite a bit more power.
Actually I think I figured it out. It was having trouble connecting to my wifi network, so I think it was running the battery down constantly trying to connect. I usually keep GPS off unless I need to use it. Thanks though!
