You’d think that English was my second language, but I really do this whenever I have to ask someone in a store for help. It’s especially when I have to wait for a period of time that allows me to go through all the permutations of how to ask this one simple question and consider if I want to get a “yes” answer or a “no answer.” Or maybe they’ve been getting the same question all day and by now they’re used to saying “no we’re out of stock.” But if I phrase it “are you out of stock?” then if they say “no” they’ll have to correct themselves and say yes even if it makes more sense to say “no.”

Long story short, they had it and I was able to purchase a copy. As I’m writing this I still haven’t popped it in, but maybe I’ll have played a little bit by the time you read this.
