Maybe I’m different because of either my eating habits or because I have a fast metabolism but I can’t entirely understand how one day of eating can cause people to gain so much they need to work it off at the gym soon after. Or maybe it’s an exaggeration that people rush to the gym after Thanksgiving. I suppose I could understand gaining weight from the Christmas holidays more because presumably you’re on vacation for longer and not eating as well during that time. That continued bad eating over a period of time could make sense, but not really one day.

Then again, I once remember talking to a friend of mine and he asked me if I ever just eat for the fun of it because I was bored even though I knew that I was full. The concept of eating when I know I’m full is just so weird, but I guess it’s more common than I think.
