I’ll fully admit that I don’t read much at all, and reading these “Twelve Kingdoms” books (of which the anime is based off of) is the most fiction reading I’ve done in years. So since I’m so not well read, it feels kind of embarrassing to go to the teens section of the bookstore.

This is just my own neuroses that feels the eyes of everyone around me judging the guy in his mid to late twenties venturing into the teen books section of the store. It kind of feels like when as a kid sometimes you’d find yourself in the ultra-pink girl’s section of the toy store.

Maybe it’s just me, but whenever I see the Teens section at a bookstore all I see are the ones targeted towards teen girls. I think though the current Twilight phenomenon is partially to blame since most bookstores now will have an enormous display dedicated to it.
