I’m wondering if the economy is affecting my deli or not. Yesterday bagel man 1 was back at the bagel station and bagel man 2 was running the grill just like when I started going there years ago. Thing is that there was another guy doing bagels for the past two weeks or so, and before then there was a younger grill guy. In all the time since bagel man 1 became pizza man he never did bagels until yesterday. Even the senior cashier guy was on bagels at times, but never bagel man 1. Yes, these are the things I think about. My bagel with cream cheese still costs two dollars, but I still wonder if the economy is responsible for the recent shifts.
