Seriously, it’s not even a return to a fresh bagel guy who needs to be trained. I’d say the shallow cut through the bagel, thinking I said “jelly” two times and the toasting on the inside are a huge step back. Original bagel guy went away to the front of the deli for a while and that’s when bagel man 2 (who used to work the grill) stepped in. Then they got a new guy on the grill and Original bagel man came back for a little bit. But now he’s working at the front of the deli again! I’m wondering now if I’m seeing the deli worker hierarchy. Do they start at the grill, become bagel person and then go to salads or something? I would’ve thought grill would be a later job because it’s more complicated. Hmmmmm.
