This doesn’t gross me out as much as watching him put butter on a piece of toast or on a bagel but it’s kind of close. Basically he has one knife which he uses to cut every single thing that he needs to cut all day. I don’t by any means expect him to have multiple knives because that would just be absurd. I guess it’s just a situation where I never before paid attention to the deli guys cleaning their knives. This guy I specifically see him clean off the knife before he cuts anything so I get to thinking of all the cream cheese, butter, bacon fat, grease, peanut butter, jelly, sausage and whatever the hell he needs to cut through during the course of his morning all gradually soaking into this one rag.
