Unless you’ve been living under a rock you’ve heard of The Da Vinci Code, and probably know that the movie comes out this weekend. If you visit Rottentomatoes.com you also know that it’s largely being panned by critics. I haven’t seen reviews this negative for a major box office release since, well I don’t really know. Only 15% of reviews being positive out of 82 is pretty dang bad. Granted Rottentomatoes isn’t choosy about its choice of reviewers, but this is very low, especially for such a high profile film. Though I’m sure it’s still going to have a huge weekend, with a hopefully sharp dropoff. It’d be very hard for me at this point to care much less than I already do about this movie.
