This late in the game it’s growing increasingly hard to do comics, especially if nothing annoying happens to me in some capacity during the day, because I think I’ve covered so much ground on everyday things that irritate me. When I think of this that’s when I realize I need to find ways to mix things up more to try and stay ahead of the reader. This comic originally was going to have him overhear the thing about the Penny Arcade, count up his change and then go, but I realized just how predictable that would be.

I hate it when comics or comedic shows get into a formula that you can predict. A friend mentioned talking to someone they met who said that they could use a stopwatch to predict jokes in Family Guy. I also like Fox Trot, but there really is a finite number of setups that he draws from now, and it’s becoming tired. I don’t know how long my comic is going to go on, but I hope I have the objectivity to know when it’s run its course.

Back on subject, I was thinking of counting my change and then getting the free piggy bank, but I don’t want the logo of a bank sitting on my desk, that would bug me.
