I was walking to the turnstile of the 34th street Q station when I hit one of those pockets of hot air. Usually you can walk on past these sections, but this was not the case this time. The heat was like that all the way down to the platform. Thankfully the train came relatively quickly (it was around 3:00 am). The feeling that you’re walking around in atmosphere equivalent to the inside of a person’s gym shorts or armpit after a hard workout is really not fun.
