This was me night before last. I didn’t feel motivated enough to switch my G5 with my G3 because I didn’t want to deal with cords and stuff (I was using my G3 on the floor). So since using my computer was so uncomfortable I was thinking of what else to do. It’s always so lame when you’re in a situation where you’re not using your computer and you don’t know what to do. Or is that just me? I ended up watching more of the actor’s commentary of “Return of the King” because that’s the last thing I need to watch before I can say I watched all the extras (with the exception of the narrated conceptual art). It was probably only 1:30 am when i went to bed. I usually go to sleep around 2:00 am or after, but ideally I get to sleep by 2:00 am.

Last night was the night I finally took my G5 out from under my desk, unhooked my flat panel monitor and put my ginormous CRT Apple monitor on my desk. This is the monitor with the obnoxiously large footprint because it has three legs that make it difficult to position efficiently. So basically right now it’s taking up so much room that when my keyboard is in front of the legs there isn’t enough room for my wrist rest. Yay carpel tunnel.

Now I’m getting reacquainted with Internet Explorer 5 which just sucks so much as a browser. In fact it sucks so much I’m doing far less browsing than I would normally because I’m so used to my “open in tabs” or just tabbed browsing in general. It’s so slow and inefficient to work with multiple windows, especially in OS9 when there’s no convenient way to get through them all. Plus Internet Explorer 5 just sucks for rendering any web pages with anything fancy schmancy on them at all. Fun.
