First reaction when I saw this sign was that it’s stupid, because I think most New Yorkers just live in New York. Sure there are a ton of celebrities and rich people who have an apartment in New York that they live in sometimes when they’re not staying some place warmer, but if we’re talking percentages how much is that really? I thought I’d do some research on this, but during that I was reminded about that whole “Second Home” slogan dealy that Bloomberg wants to get through for the Olympics 2012 campaign. I had heard about that stupid slogan a while back and forgotten about it. But now that I’m being reminded of it I realize that yeah, it is stupid.
