Okay I admit it, I have some aggression to deal with. I was at CVS with a friend while on lunchbreak just doing a quick errand and there were two lines being taken up by people with a unique talent for holding up the line. Actually, when we first got into line there was no line to speak of, but by the time we got to the counter there were about six people behind us. One cashier was being held up by three elderly women who reminded me of the old women they spoof on Monty Python. They were griping about something being a two for one or three for one discount special.

Then the other line this person somehow weaseled in front of us by basically jumping the line. I think she got away with it because we weren’t sure if it was one of those situations where they had already been in line and were told to come straight back. It turned out she was trying to return some big bottle of vitamins or whatever comes in big plastic bottles. Kicker was she didn’t have a receipt so then the whole price check situation arose, plus asking the manager questions. Then the three old ladies finished their transaction but took forever getting away from the counter so they were blocking us from getting to the cashier while they collected themselves.

Sometimes there’s no such thing as a quick errand.
