I hate the Canal Street RW stop because of this reason. There are other stations that are set up like this too, but in particular this stop is the first offender that affected me. It just constantly looks like a train is approaching so it’s just a total tease. Plus this station is breezy enough that you can’t lick your finger and hold it to feel for any approaching wind that would indicate an oncoming train. Though even if it wasn’t breezy, it could still be an express train coming.
