Though even going back to my bootleg laserdisc-ripped DVDs they don’t look so bad. The Special Edition DVDs are just so totally gorgeous though. It just makes me want to watch the movies in sections sometimes though. I want to make my own special edition but I’m such a stickler for quality I could probably never bring myself to mix two video qualities on such polar opposite sides of the spectrum.
