We’ve all seen the various commercials about the new innovative toothbrushes out there, but do they really work that way? Biggest culprit I think is the one where it has the big fat white bristles on the top and then the green and white spikey ones on the side that the commercial shows digging around the tooth to dislodge plaque. I tried using one of those and it felt like the bristles were so uneven that only a few of them were making contact with my teeth. Maybe I was using it incorrectly or maybe it’s actually a bad design. All I look for in a toothbrush are the ones with slightly longer top bristles and a curved handle with the rubber grip. It shouldn’t be hard to find simple toothbrushes but sometimes it’s like looking through the aspirin section of a pharmacy.
