As anyone knows taking public transportation during Thanksgiving really sucks. I used to take the train, but stopped because the bus is so much cheaper. Penn Station is ridiculous during Thanksgiving, and when that track is announced you better hope that you’re already nearby the escalator to your train. One time I remember watching the departures waiting for the track announcement and momentarily had a lapse where I decided to listen to the audio announcements instead. Big mistake. When I heard the crowd shifting suddenly I looked up to realize that the track had been posted and a few seconds later they said it over the P.A. system. Hundreds of people shoving to get to a single lane escalator…sounds safe to me.
