One theory I’ve heard for this is that the milk spends an extra amount of time on the sidewalk while it’s being loaded up. Though that doesn’t make much sense to me since when I see people loading up milk it doesn’t really take that long. Someday I’ll find out for myself the real reason NYC milk expires three days sooner than everywhere else. It might be a terrible and disgusting reason, but that emptiness inside of me will be fulfilled.
